Street XO – 15 Old Burlington St, Mayfair, London W1S

WOW! What an experience Street XO was! Every dish and every corner of the restaurant is Instagram worthy and a feast for the eyes and belly – one dish was even served on paper! We wouldn’t necessarily go back for the food, but we would highly recommend this eatery for the experience.

barbecoaBarbecoa Piccadilly – 194 Piccadilly, London W1J 9EX

The 250-cover restaurant is housed within the former Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours building, part of the St James’ Market development. You can look right into the open kitchen! Although steak-focused, they’re raising the stakes elsewhere on the menu, too and we ordered the coal-roasted lobster thermidor, as well as smoked duck with champagne rhubarb, and grilled poussin. Fancy, much? Highly Recommend!

The Ivy Soho Brasserie – 26-28 Broadwick Street, Soho, London W1F 8JB

New to the bustling streets of Soho is Ivy’s latest addition to the Brasserie family. Be sure to start off with some entrée plates to share that don’t disappoint like the Soft Goat’s Cheese Salad, Atlantic Sea Scallops, and Tuna Carpaccio! Main Course go-to-dish: The Aromatic Duck Curry!

Zelman meats

Zelman Meats – 2 St Anne’s Ct, Soho, London W1F 0AZ

Zelman Meats is our go-to restaurant for a post work feast. Set in the heart of Soho, it offers the best of beef and accompanying sides, all cooked in front of you in the open kitchen. Top Tip: Make sure to ask about the specials!

The CoachThe Coach – 3 West St, Marlow SL7 2LS

We ventured out of London for this one, but alas it was worth the journey! Sitting on the pretty and petite Marlow high street, The Coach is an absolute Gem. Headed up by Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge, the pub-like restaurant only takes walk-ins so make sure to get there for an early or late dinner if you want to avoid waiting. As it’s a sharing plate concept, we ordered almost everything on the menu and we would recommend you do the same!

Smokestack Shoreditch – 35 Sclater St, London E1 6LB

After first tasting their BBQ meats at Dinerama, they have gone from strength to strength and we couldn’t wait to visit their new permanent home. Nestled in a side street in Shoreditch, they’ve decked the room out with sharing tables, booths an open kitchen and given the walls a slick of black paint. Their classic ribs are the star of the menu and you can’t go there without ordering them. The sides are also AMAZING and we ordered all of them 😛

Paradise by Way Kensal Green – 19 Kilburn Ln, London W10 4AE

We just love this venue – gastropub by day, pumping nightclub come dusk. We visited here for a birthday where we hired their Reading Room for 18 guests and it was gorgeous and rustic. It was a Sunday so we had the tough decision of what roast to order. We will go as far as saying that this was the best roast we’ve had in London!

Honest burgerHonest Burger – 4 Market Pl, Fitzrovia, London W1W 8AD

Ah a classic ‘It’s Friday, screw the diet’ type of work lunch. We went to the Honest Burger in Oxford Circus to meet up with some friends. The atmosphere was electric and the food matched. We would recommend anything on this menu, but you’ve got to try their bacon ketchup either in your burger or to dip ‘London’s best chips’ into!

Percy and founders2Percy & Founders – 1 Pearson Square, Fitzrovia, London W1W 7EY

We recently spoilt ourselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon with brunch at Percy & Founders and it only left us wanting more! Whether you’re in the mood for Devon Crab Benedict, Steak & Ale Pie, or a succulent Pork Belly and Crackling Sunday Roast, you won’t be leaving disappointed. For an extra £18pp, finish the weekend off right and make it bottomless with your choice of Prosecco or Bloody Mary!
