National Geographic Channel to launch their new documentary MARS.

The event brief was intense but so much fun to fulfil! 19 Events was set the task to organise a screening and after-party for the movie premiere, and to transport all the guests from one venue to the other. Everything had to be branded, relevant and executed to the highest of standards

For the first part of the event we sourced the Barbican for the screening room for 250 guests and the talent to watch the movie and host a Q&A session. We then transported all of the guests in branded shuttle buses over to the Gherkin for the after party. The party took place on the top two floors of the Gherkin in the Searcys restaurant and we created a glamorous and futuristic vibe through production and planning. Photobooth, logo projections and barren flower displays turned the space from an iconic London venue, in to the red planet!

Every aspect of the event was bought together by 19 Events, from the vinyl additions in the barbican and the gherkin, to the heavily themed photo booth, flowers, telescopes and gorgeous cupcakes!

We have to say our highlight of the event was our lovely promo girls, who were decked out in NASA bomber jackets, hats and chino’s – they really tied the whole event together!
