Catering: Wherever necessary, the caterers we work with will ensure they use locally sourced produce and the food will almost always be organic in order to maintain quality. In some cases we have avoided using red meat entirely at events, in relation to the rising methane epidemic highlighted in the documentary ‘Before The Flood’ – we organised the pre-premiere party for this with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy in attendance!
Crockery: We’ve recently been looking in to fun and interesting ways to incorporate recyclables into events, one particular way was to introduce water cans from CanoWater – much more sustainable than using plastic bottles and they have such a high-end feel!
Carbon Footprint: We like to use suppliers and couriers who are conscious of reducing their carbon footprints and using minimal packaging. We always like to ensure we can combine as many deliveries as possible and if the delivery is a small one, using bikes as opposed to vans!
Accessories: We’ve been very conscious of creating sustainable goody bags and gifts for the guests, for example; using paper bags for popcorn/sweeties as opposed to plastic bags.
